The ‘Blooming Marketer’ Education/Scholarship Fund

The Blooming Marketer Education and Scholarship Fund was created to invest in the future of marketing professionals by providing educational support to local college students and faculty in South Florida — specifically in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties. The Fund helps cover expenses for attending educational seminars and programs hosted by the Florida Direct Marketing Association, while also offering direct scholarship assistance to qualified students pursuing studies in marketing, with a focus on direct marketing.
Students and faculty members can apply for stipends and scholarships at any time throughout the year — applications will be accepted until funds are fully distributed.
Our Mission
The Blooming Marketer Fund aims to raise a minimum of $1,000 through a unique fundraising partnership between Eden Florist and the FDMA. Funds collected will be used to:

Award at least two $250 scholarships to deserving students.

Provide 20 admissions to FDMA events — allowing two students or faculty members to attend each monthly seminar or networking event at no cost.
This initiative is designed to nurture and grow the next generation of marketing leaders by giving them access to critical industry education and networking opportunities.
Why “Blooming Marketer”?
As Heidi Richards, founder of EdenFlorist.com and “Chief Goddess,” explains:
“The Scholarship Fund was named ‘Blooming’ because education is much like a flower — constantly growing and blossoming. The more knowledge one gathers, the more they flourish. Eden Florist is proud to give back to the community by helping students achieve their academic and professional goals.”
The Fund officially launches on February 1st, just in time for Valentine’s Day, and will continue through June 2006. Every flower order you place during this period can help “grow” the fund and support deserving students!

10% of each order will be donated directly to the scholarship fund.
