Welcome to the Language of Flowers page for EdenFlorist.com

For centuries the language of flowers has been acknowledged in many countries throughout Europe and Asia. The works of William Shakespeare make many references to the language of flowers. Mythologies, folklore, sonnets, and plays of the ancient Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, and Chinese include flower and plant symbolism.

Every sentiment you want to express can be done with flowers for any occasion, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and sympathy. Flowers continue to play an important role in expressing our thoughts to those we honor.

See Flower Finder for pictures of individual flowers.

Did you know that flowers have a “secret” language all their own? That’s right! And many a person has sent a flower (or many) to express what they cannot say in words or to reinforce a message to the recipient.
